Frequently asked questions
What are Open Graph and Twitter Card tags?
They're meta tags that control how your link looks when shared — the title, description, and preview image on Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack, and iMessage (Open Graph) and on X/Twitter (Twitter Cards). Without them, platforms guess, often badly.
Why does my shared link show no image (or the wrong one)?
Usually a missing or too-small og:image, or the platform cached an old version. Set an image of at least 1200×630, then use the platform's debugger (like Facebook's Sharing Debugger) to re-scrape the URL.
What image size should I use?
1200×630 pixels (a 1.91:1 ratio) is the safe default for Open Graph and large Twitter cards. Keep it under about 5 MB and use an absolute https URL — relative paths won't load on other sites.
Do you collect what I enter?
Your tags are generated in your browser and aren't stored. The optional Fetch button sends the URL you enter to our server to read that page's existing tags; we use it only to answer the request and don't store it. No signup; analytics are anonymous, cookieless page-view counts only.
